MY STORY
As far as developing my sense of spirit goes, l am a late bloomer.
I do not recall having a sense of there being spirit around me as a young child. But as l got older, l began to have an interest in spirit. My uncle l found out, was very psychic from a young age & l began to share my interest with my mother.
It was not until a particular visit to a medium when in my early 50's that things began to change.
As part of a health/lifestyle change this medium suggested that l learn some meditation; but l was to join a group rather than try on my own.
Well obviously spirit was already working as before l knew it l had found out about & visited a local spiritual centre where l joined their healing & shortly after their development circle. Of course things were not to be that simple & l struggled to develop any form of connection with spirit. But slowly things began to unfold until one night l finally made a connection with the spirit grandfather of one of the group. This was the turning point for me. My connection began to grow & develop & l was soon feeling confident l could connect with loved ones of my close friends & family. And as with so many new learning experiences; l had to work hard, build my confidence & ability to connect.
After l had spent about five years developing & being involvement in the spiritual centre through their committee; our development leader chose to retire & l was asked to fill this position with offers of support & guidance. This was another step forward for me in my own development as l seemed to rise in my connection as l took on more responsibility.
My life now is filled with offering private face-to-face readings for clients & l continue to be involved with the spiritual centre & lead their development circle.
But most of all l continue to learn & develop myself, through my connection with like minded people, my clients, & my own explorations into learning. This has taken me further into my Journey and I decided to expand my interest in and understanding of dreams. I spent a year studying under Jane Teresa Anderson and her Dream Academy and now practice as a Dream Therapist, delving into clients dreams and bringing some understanding of their dreams and connection to their waking lives.
THE JOURNEY CONTINUES.............
